My love for photography began more than 20 years ago with the birth of my lovely daughter Nara. Until then, I merely fantasized about what it would be like to take portraits and turn them into works of art.

Of course, I thought (and still do!) she was a work of art and took more than I knew what to do with. Those were the days of developing my own film and learning the difference between an f-stop and aperture.

Nara and later my son Kade were very patient. Besides. They had no choice! Thanks to them I've lined my walls with their photos from babyhood to the teenage years. I believe that photographs give you a sense of who you are and where you came from and can give you an insight into your own family history.
