Photography is art to the photographer, but only the observer will see its true worth. I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. But my interest in photographing people developed by admiring the works of artists like Gordon Parks, Annie Liebovitz and Steve McCurry. Their photographs tell each person's story and inspire me to attempt to do the same. Getting to know what really makes another person "tick"... what makes them happy or sad, or what makes them feel confident, beautiful, or powerful, that, to me, makes a successful, truthful photograph. Whether it's your senior portrait, engagement photo for the newspaper or invite, your adorable grandchild, the "new you" for internet dating, or your first actor headshot, I know you have a story to tell.
